Wedding of the Week on Bride Tree

We were really happy to have been selected by the bride tree as their ‘wedding of the week’. Completely unexpected was Mieke’s comment. We all shared a glass of wine at the studio and feel so lucky to have been part of Mieke’s day. Filming weddings really is a passion of ours and weddings provide such an amazing stage…

Many thanks to lovebird weddings who provide incredible styling and planning. Marcus Bell from Studio Impressions who we continue to love to work with and is simply a great photographer despite his terrible impersonations of an English accent.

Mieke’s comment…
“Hi Guys

Thank you so much for selecting our wedding video as film of the week. Wild Bunch Weddings are the most talented, professional, amazing group and to say I am in awe of their work is an understatement. I cannot thank them enough for our beautiful wedding video, which we will cherish forever!”

Noosa Boats Wedding Video- Wedding Party from Melbourne

An incredible day with Georgie and Andrew Browne from the Scotchmans Hill wine family, so a lot of fantastic wine was served at Ricky’s Restaurant (incredible, iconic venue for weddings). Rather than come on the photo shoot the couple wanted Wild Bunch Wedings to grab guest comments and messages on video, mostly form the Catalina Cruise Boat going up the Noosa River at Sunset.

Most guest had traveled up from Melbourne and had been tucking into the bubbly by the time i interviewed them, so most comments will remain on the DVD that was sent out. Kim from Events of Noosa did a great job as always and Pru Edwards is simply a fantastic make up artist who consistently has such high standards.

The couple sent me message:

“LOVE the video, it is unreal.
Georgie”

Currumbin & Gold Coast Wedding Video

Kirsty and Marko chose the beautiful Currumbin Valley to get married and then we headed down towards the beach overlooking the skyscrapers of Gold Coast for a photoshoot.

We played around with some wide angle lenses for the big panoramic shots.

A great day.

How to Dance video

You don’t need to speak Finnish to understand these dance moves. Amusing but strangely informative:

Marie Claire magazine, Marcus Bell and Wild Bunch Weddings- am i dreaming..?

Susie & Nick- Little Cove from Wild Bunch Weddings on Vimeo

Susie and Nicholas’ Noosa Wedding was really quite an Amazing event. They had chosen Little Cove Noosa, to have their romantic and touching wedding ceremony.

The tides were pretty high and the sea came rushing in to add to the fun atmosphere and give it’s blessing to the couple.

Susie and Nicholas are from Sydney but Noosa holds special memories for them. Susie is the Marketing Director for Marie Claire magazine, so many familiar faces from TV, magazines and Sydney High society. A few of her freinds put together some really stylish elements to the wedding.

Marcus Bell from Studio Impressions captured the whole event in the unique and timeless style which he has become famous for. If you miss his pics on the website keep your eyes peeled for the Marie Claire Magazine which will be featuring them also. Marcus as always, was a pleasure to work with.

The elegant and understated styling is all thanks to Katerina and David from DG3. These guys are used to important events, like the Olympic Games, the Superbowl in the US, the Logies and Susie and Nicholas’ wedding. Susie beautiful dress by Steven Khalil. Sails restaurant staff, food and atmosphere was the epitome of elegant and relaxed. Terrianne at http://www.mondofloraldesigns.com.au/ provided her usual extremely creative and high standards. The cake too was classic soft pink romance by Lee Berryman at Cake designs. .

You can catch a bit of the guests singing and speeches in the highlights, truly touching. In fact the song which follows the ceremony in the highlights clip was the first part of the song which Nicholas sang to Susie, which was brave, very touching and not at all corny.

The DJ Stephen Ferris read the crowd and the atmosphere as only someone as accomplished as Stephen could.

What a day and what a night! A lotta LOVE went into this.
