Sunshine Coast and Brisbane- Wedding Video and photography packages

Super Slow motion and amazing Jewish festivities!

Thanks so much for the feedback. What Dan and Cate said:

“Dear Sam & Justin,

So many things impressed us about WBW. Foremost, you captured the essence of our day exactly how we experienced it, you really did an amazing job. We love our wedding video – it is natural, timeless and tells our story perfectly. Your professional, friendly and non-obtrusive style was very much appreciated. We whole-heartedly recommend you as wedding videographers.

Dan & Cate Lewin

Dan and Cate were so much fun and adventurous with their photoshoot. We experimented with shooting at some high frame rates to create a super slow motion effect in the edit. After hours in the editing room, Justin manged to achieve a smooth slow motion on a few spectacular shots during the photo shoot.

Some incredible dancing, spinning, chair lifting and crazy fun ensued, with all ages joining in.

Many thanks to Ross Marks who was great to work with. The 4th Floor in Mooloolaba was a lot of fun and a great place to dance.

Wild Bunch Weddings- Sydney Wedding Film

We love going to Sydney to film weddings. In fact one of our long time, Wild Bunch, ‘uber’ professional cam-men has now set up in Sydney to offer our services to the Sydney Wedding scene. We’ve worked with many of Sydney’s best photographers and pride ourselves on being easy to work with,  as well as consistently creating an amazing looking film that is beautiful, elegant and resonates on a personal level with our couples.

The Tea Rooms at Gunners’ Barracks in Mosman are a breathtaking location. Andrea and James were a handsome couple and fun,  Raoul Tackelburg Photography was great to work with and produced some stunning images.

With Canon releasing some incredible new ‘videography’ equipment it looks like wedding films are going to reach new levels in 2012. So it’s a very exciting time for Wedding Cinematography.

A few still grabs from our weddings

I grab a few stills from our recent wedding footage occasionally to use in DVD menus and for images printed DVD and Blu Ray discs. I thought i’d post a few up here as examples. The soon to be released new DSLR cameras we use to films will allow us to grab photo quality images which is very exciting!! We mentioned this in the post about Jemima and Josh’s wedding.

Sunshine Coast Wedding Video – Jemima & Josh

Jemima and Josh were very easy to work with. With the flawless and elegant planning done by Lovebird Weddings and the Reception in Bistro C, which always seems to be able to create the most incredible party atmosphere.
The light on the day at Noosa Main beach was pretty special too.
The couple contacted us to see if we could grab some stills from the footage to blow up into photographs. We’ve tried this before with varying degrees of success, however now a handful of Digital SLR’s (stills cameras that shoot video) are using inter-frame technology rather than intra-frame which blends the frames in film. This makes it a lot easier to grab still images which will have an incredible quality.
Photographers shouldn’t worry, as out of the 25-60 frames per second that are shot on film, only a handful will actually be useable as we have a constant ‘shutter speed’, unlike a dedicated stills photographer who has more scope to compose a shot.
However it does allow us to ‘grab’ some fantastic images and add another option or dimension to the service we can offer at Wild Bunch Weddings.

Maleny Manor Wedding – Jodie and James

As wedding locations go Maleny Manor is spectacular, add a helicopter entrance by the grooms party and you have a pretty impressive wedding day.
CL Weddings planning were great as always & photography by well known Sydney photographer Tim Pascoe.

Maleny provided us with perfect weather and the couple were very in love and very lovely to work with. It was great to catch up with a couple of their guests whose wedding i had filmed last year too!! Thanks Johnny and Julia.

Kilts and Bridal Gowns- A Sunshine Beach Church Wedding Video

We filmed Tess and Andy a few weeks before the wedding at Ricki’s River Bar to get a bit of background and incorporated a few segments into the highlights. A great story and a a couple that seem to compliments one another personalities.

Tess & Andy wedding

Tess was getting ready at Noosa Quays on Quamby Place, overlooking Noosa River and then onto St Andrews church in Sunshine Beach.

The day was planned very well by Annie from First Class Functions, so we followed the limo to Noosa Beach for the photoshoot before jumping on The Dreamboat to The Waterfront Restaurant where the bridal party was ushered in by the Bag Pipes.

If you would not like to know what a Scotsman wears under his kilt, stop the video on the Wild Bunch Weddings heart animation at the end.

Enjoy

Tuscan Wedding Video & Photography- Stine & Truls

Sara Levi is an Rome Based Wedding Planner and Events organiser. She proposed that Wild Bunch Weddings and Katja Anton Photography (AKA Weddings) cover a wedding  ‘La Canonica’, a 14th Century Monastery and Chapel, 30 minutes drive from Florence. The Monastery has been converted to a beautiful residence maintaining many of it’s quirks and character with the interesting history visible through many of the objects and furniture throughout the corridor and spiral staircases. Set above the Vineyards of Chianti there is no shortage of scenery and thankfully exposed to the light breezes in summer.

The Norwegian couple, Stine and Truls were fantastic to work with and had an amazing day. After a beautiful ceremony we moved into the old courtyard and tucked into the antipasti and Bellini’s ( Prosecco and fresh peach juice).

A great day with many thanks to Sara, Andrea the expert campanologist whose precision bell ringing was a thing of beauty and the whole team.

Carolyn Bourne’s letter to her son’s ‘staggeringly rude’ fiancee.

carolyn bourne letter

Recently a very funny article caught my attention about a stepmother’s etiquette email that went viral. It is now actually possibly believed to be a clever PR stunt to promote a new ‘wedding and events’ company set up by the son.

Heidi

It is high time someone explained to you about good manners. Yours are obvious by their absence and I feel sorry for you.

I am being kept awake – or woken early – by Bomber who is so profoundly upset by your behaviour on your recent visit that he is depressed and anxious.

Unfortunately for Freddie, he has fallen in love with you and Freddie being Freddie, I gather it is not easy to reason with him or yet encourage him to consider how he might be able to help you. It may just be possible to get through to you though. I do hope so. Your behaviour on your visit to Devon during April was staggering in its uncouthness and lack of grace. Unfortunately, this was not the first example of bad manners I have experienced from you. If you want to be accepted by the wider Bourne family I suggest you take some guidance from experts with utmost haste. There are plenty of finishing schools around. You would be an ideal candidate for the Ladette to Lady television series. Please, for your own good, for Freddie’s sake and for your future involvement with the Bourne family, do something as soon as possible.

Here are a few examples of your lack of manners:

When you are a guest in another’s house, you do not declare what you will and will not eat – unless you are positively allergic to something.
You do not remark that you do not have enough food.
You do not start before everyone else.
You do not take additional helpings without being invited to by your host.
When a guest in another’s house, you do not lie in bed until late morning in households that rise early – you fall in line with house norms.
You should never ever insult the family you are about to join at any time and most definitely not in public. I gather you passed this off as a joke but the reaction in the pub was one of shock, not laughter.
I have no idea whether you wrote to thank Georgia for the weekend but you should have hand-written a card to her.
You should have hand-written a card to me. You have never written to thank me when you have stayed at Houndspool.
Georgia has quite the most exquisite manners of anyone I have ever come across. You would do well to follow her example.

You regularly draw attention to yourself. Perhaps you should ask yourself why.
It is tragic that you have diabetes. However, you aren’t the only young person in the world who is a diabetic. I know quite a few young people who have this condition, one of whom is getting married in June. I have never heard her discuss her condition. She quietly gets on with it. She doesn’t like being diabetic. Who would? You do not need to regale everyone with the details of your condition or use it as an excuse to draw attention to yourself. It is vulgar.
As a diabetic of long standing you must be acutely aware of the need to prepare yourself for extraordinary eventualities, the walk to Mothecombe beach being an example. You are experienced enough to have prepared yourself appropriately.

No one gets married in a castle unless they own it. It is brash, celebrity style behaviour.

I understand your parents are unable to contribute very much towards the cost of your wedding. (There is nothing wrong with that except that convention is such that one might presume they would have saved over the years for their daughters’ marriages.) If this is the case, it would be most ladylike and gracious to lower your sights and have a modest wedding as befits both your incomes.

One could be accused of thinking that Heidi Withers must be patting herself on the back for having caught a most eligible young man. I pity Freddie.
